Ajure Renewable Energy was founded by leaders whose journey began in rural India and grew through achievement in academia, industry, and public service. Inspired by their roots, they are driven by a deep commitment to give back to the communities where immense potential and untapped talent reside.
Guided by the Government of India’s initiatives, we are working to channel opportunities into rural regions. We aim to train and develop 200 local professionals every year, enabling them to remain connected to their roots while playing an integral role in advancing India’s renewable energy future.

Dr. Udai Pratap Singh — Advisor
Academic Excellence & Mentorship
Born and raised in rural India, Dr. Singh has built an outstanding career in academia and technical education. He currently serves as Deputy Director at Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), and Member of Board of Governors of IIT Delhi & IIT Roorkee, playing a key role in shaping world-class technical education and mentoring India's brightest minds. He brings deep expertise, values-driven leadership, and strategic guidance to Ajure Renewable Energy.
Ravi Pratap Singh — Founder
Global Energy Strategy & Execution
Ravi’s journey began in a small village in eastern Uttar Pradesh. After completing his higher education in the NCR region, he received a prestigious European Union scholarship to pursue graduate studies in the Netherlands and Spain, specializing in renewable energy and global markets. Currently based in the United States, Ravi works as a Senior Director managing large-scale renewable energy assets for a Fortune 500 company. His international experience and deep connection to rural India inspire the strategic vision of Ajure.
Akhand Pratap Singh — Founder
Policy & Sustainable Growth
Akhand is a strategic consultant and entrepreneur driving India's renewable energy transition. Currently leveraging his initiatives at IIT Roorkee to shape clean-energy policy, he focuses on dismantling regulatory bottlenecks and accelerating solar technology adoption through stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
What We Do
1. Solar Project Development (Agrivoltaics)
We develop distributed-scale solar projects (1–5 MW) in rural Uttar Pradesh. Our approach is unique: instead of displacing agriculture, we integrate it.
- Agrivoltaics: We design projects where solar development coexists with farming, supporting both clean energy generation and rural livelihoods.
- Full Lifecycle: We manage everything from site identification and interconnection to off-taker engagement and financing.
2. Skill Development & Workforce Training
We are bridging the talent gap in India’s renewable sector. We identify high-potential candidates from rural communities and provide structured apprenticeship opportunities.
- Goal: To equip local youth with the skills required to support projects in India and abroad, creating a localized green economy.
3. Enabling Next-Gen Infrastructure (Data Centers)
We collaborate with leading data center developers to identify strategic locations in Eastern UP that offer reliable power and competitive costs. By aligning clean energy assets with emerging infrastructure needs, we accelerate sustainable growth in semi-urban regions.
